Does She Love Him?

Wrote the first verse and chorus of 'Does she Love Me' around 2003 and recorded a rough copy around the same time.

Finished the song and created this cover version in June 2026.
"A transient romancer from a golden age,
Spied a silver dancer on a golden stage.
He kissed her in the darkness and he held her close.
Was this to be the woman who would love him most?

Does she love him?
Does she love him still?
He loves her and
He always will.

Then there comes a last time when the feelings dim,
When she longs for a lover, and it isn't him.
When did the young girl of his dreams depart?
Where did the woman go who stole his heart?

Does she love him?
Does she love him still?
He loves her and
He always will.

Evelyn where are you?
Evelyn come by.
Evelyn where are you now?
Why did our love song have to die?

The time left without him and world grew cold.
Memories might warm him but they could not hold.
No words, no poetry still to burn,
He left one day and did not return.

How she loved him!
How the love goes on.
But he was never the man,
She could count upon."
